With the children in tow, I drove up Mark Twain Lane to the northern entrance to Stormfield. I took a few photographs while the children played on the snowy road and woods that bordered the property. They managed to climbed out on a fallen tree that had crossed one of the many trails that wind through and around Stormfield. We’ve had over 40 inches of snow this month. I’m told it’s a record for January. This is the entrance, complete with gate, that Twain used that first day at Stormfield.
